Ashwini Vaishnaw to Speak at Pune Policy Festival 2025

Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister of Railways, Electronics & Information Technology, and Information & Broadcasting will be the distinguished keynote speaker on January 11th at the second edition of the Pune Public Policy Festival (PPPF 2025). The two-day event, centered around the theme “Envisioning a $10 Trillion India,” will be held at the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics and The Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute.

The second day’s agenda includes a keynote on “Accelerating India’s Development: The Imperative of State Capacity” by Economist Karthik Muralidharan, workshop on “TechNITI : Harnessing AI for Policy Innovation” and a panel on “Unlocking Economic Potential: Digital Public Infrastructure for a $10 Trillion India” will showcase industry leaders including Prateek Som, Standing Counsel, Government of Haryana, Ritul Gaur, Policy Advisor, The Digital Impact Alliance and few more.
PPPF 2025 aims to address three critical aspects of India’s growth story: achieving the $10 trillion economy
milestone through strategic policy initiatives, harnessing the nation’s demographic dividend through
education and innovation, and strengthening India’s global presence through cultural and digital
transformation. The festival brings together policymakers, business leaders, and innovators to chart the
course for India’s ambitious future.
