Fred Boff began his professional career as an English teacher and coach, but a lifelong desire to be in law enforcement led him to accept an appointment as a special agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration during its infancy. Following academy training, Fred worked the remainder of his DEA career in the New York office. During this time, he was in charge of numerous high-profile cases, including the notorious “Cowboy Mafia” ring.
