A study conducted between January and May 2022 revealed that in Bengaluru TDS levels ranged from 68 to 1,236 ppm, with some samples significantly surpassing the acceptable limit of 500 ppm.“From a national perspective: A 2024 survey by LocalCircles highlighted that only 4% of Indian households receive drinkable quality water directly from their local bodies.
