Greater Noida, June 20, 2025: Lohum, India’s leading producer of energy transition materials through recycling, refining, and battery repurposing, proudly announces the successful completion of the Lohum Foundation’s 2025 Summer Camp, hosted from 9th to 20th June. This year’s camp, themed “Sustainability,” brought together students from Classes 6 to 8 for an immersive, hands-on educational experience designed to ignite curiosity, creativity, and a passion for environmental stewardship.
The Lohum Foundation’s summer camp embodies its mission to make sustainability education accessible, engaging, and impactful for children from diverse backgrounds. By focusing on interactive learning—through experiments, projects, and real-world problem-solving activities—the camp nurtured a deep understanding of sustainability concepts and empowered participants to become proactive voices of change.
Throughout the camp, children explored real-world sustainability challenges and solutions, collaborating in small groups to ensure personalized attention and meaningful engagement. Guided by LOHUM’s experts and mentors, participants delved into topics ranging from circular economy principles to innovative green technologies and developed practical skills that will serve them well into the future.
A highlight of the program is the Finale Celebration, held on 20th June, where the young “Sustainability Superheroes” shared the inspiring messages they crafted around protecting the planet. Their presentations reflected values of responsibility, environmental care, and hope for a brighter tomorrow—demonstrating the transformative impact of the camp on their perspectives and aspirations.
Every participant was inducted into the prestigious Sustainability Superheroes Club and received a certificate of participation, recognizing their dedication to building a sustainable future. As part of Lohum Foundation’s ongoing commitment, these budding changemakers are now eligible for future internships at Lohum, with top performers standing a chance to win scholarships for further education.
