July 6:Teerthanker Mahaveer University , Moradabad, has shared a video revealing that it fulfilled a promise made during Akshay Kumar’s campus visit by distributing movie tickets to its students. The university accompanied the clip with the message, “At TMU, we believe every promise deserves to be fulfilled. And when superstar Akshay Kumar said it, there was only one response, make it happen!”
The video revisits the lively event where Akshay interacted with a packed auditorium of students. Amid loud cheers and applause, the actor had as a joke asked the college to ensure that the students get to watch Welcome to the Jungle. Days later, TMU turned those words into reality.
The clip then cuts from the stage to the campus, where students were overjoyed to receive a message on their phones that they can collect the tickets from their college. Their excitement says it all. What began as a simple promotional stop has turned into a memorable experience for hundreds of students who will be seeing the film together.
The gesture has been praised online, with many thanking the university for keeping its promise, and not just using the on-stage declaration as a passing marketing opportunity.
