MUMBAI, India September 24, 2025: Prime Video has announced the exclusive global streaming premiere of Ghaati, a powerful Telugu crime-action drama directed by National Award winner Krish Jagarlamudi. The film stars Anushka Shetty in a bold new avatar as Sheelavathi, a woman whose journey from oppression to revenge anchors the narrative. She is joined by Vikram Prabhu, Chaitanya Rao Madadi, and Ravindra Vijay in pivotal roles, with a compelling background score by Sagar Nagavelli.
Streaming begins September 26, and the film will be available to Prime members in over 240 countries and territories, in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Set against the rugged Eastern Ghats on the Andhra–Odisha border, Ghaati explores the lives of a marginalized tribal community entangled in a brutal illicit trade and smuggling network led by the Naidu brothers. As Sheelavathi and Desi Raju (Vikram Prabhu) fight to liberate their people, they face off against the violent syndicate controlled by Kundhul Naidu (Chaitanya Rao Madadi) and Kaastala Naidu (Ravindra Vijay).
