Kolkata, 8th November, 2025: The Shrachi Sports Entertainment Network (SSEN) partnered with the 126th edition of the historic Beighton Cup, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious hockey tournaments. The tournament which will be held from 8th to 16th November 2025, features 12 top teams from across India competing for the coveted title, will be telecast LIVE.
A total of 19 matches is scheduled over nine days, with 15 matches being played at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Hockey Stadium) and the remaining four matches from Dumurjola Stadium, Howrah.
As part of this collaboration, SSEN extended its support to promote Indian hockey by facilitating live telecasts of 15 matches from the Salt Lake Hockey Stadium. The initiative aimed to bring the excitement of the Beighton Cup to fans across the country, celebrating the rich legacy of the sport.
The opening ceremony will take place at 2:00 pm on 8th November, followed by two matches the first at 2:30 pm and the second at 4:30 pm, marking the official start of the tournament.

SSEN already streams marquee tournaments including the Calcutta Football League and the I-League. In addition, SSEN is the first to stream the Women’s Bundesliga and the German Handball Bundesliga, underscoring its credibility as a platform delivering both Indian and international sporting action to mass audiences.
