July 31: Reinforcing its strategic focus on India’s fast-growing Tier II markets, PVR INOX Limited, India’s largest and most premium cinema exhibitor, today announced the launch of its new 3-screen multiplex in Jabalpur. The opening marks another milestone in the company’s expansion across emerging cities, bringing a world-class cinema experience to one of Madhya Pradesh’s fastest-growing urban centres. The cinema opens with Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day, one of the year’s biggest global cinematic events, giving audiences the opportunity to experience the film’s scale, action and spectacle in a destination designed for premium moviegoing.

With this launch, PVR INOX Limited now operates 10 cinemas with 55 screens across Madhya Pradesh and 42 cinemas with 204 screens across Central India, further strengthening its footprint across India’s growth markets. Developed in partnership with Satya Prakash Group, the multiplex marks the company’s second cinema in Jabalpur and spans approximately 19,430 sq. ft., reflecting PVR INOX’s continued investment in bringing premium entertainment infrastructure to high-potential emerging cities.

Strategically located in the Madan Mahal area, one of Jabalpur’s prominent commercial hubs, the multiplex forms part of Mall 11, a vibrant mixed-use destination featuring leading retail, dining and lifestyle brands. Surrounded by established residential neighbourhoods, it is set to become a preferred destination for entertainment and shared experiences in the city.

Inspired by Art Deco, the cinema combines classic elegance with contemporary design, featuring a sculptural ceiling, ambient lighting and refined finishes for a sophisticated guest experience.

Featuring three premium auditoriums with 659 luxury recliner seats, the cinema offers 2K projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound and Next Generation 3D for a superior cinematic experience. Guests can also enjoy an extensive food and beverage menu featuring freshly prepared gourmet snacks and signature cinema favourites, thoughtfully curated to complement every movie outing.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Ajay Bijli, Managing Director, PVR INOX Limited, said, “India’s next phase of cinema growth will increasingly be driven by emerging cities, where rising aspirations, improving infrastructure and growing consumer demand are reshaping the entertainment landscape. Jabalpur exemplifies this opportunity. As one of Central India’s fastest-growing urban centres, it is ready for a world-class cinema destination, and we are delighted to bring the PVR INOX experience to the city. Opening with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, one of the year’s biggest global releases, makes this an especially exciting milestone. This launch reflects our long-term commitment to expanding across India’s growth markets and bringing the finest Indian and international cinema closer to audiences, supported by cutting-edge technology, exceptional comfort and warm hospitality.”

Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director, PVR INOX Limited, added, “As audiences increasingly seek meaningful experiences outside the home, cinemas continue to play a unique role as places where people come together to connect, celebrate and create lasting memories. With its elegant Art Deco-inspired design, luxury recliner seating and thoughtfully curated hospitality, our Jabalpur cinema has been created as a destination that audiences will enjoy returning to time and again.
