The event, which took place from 6th through 9th November, 2024 at Jio Garden, BKC, Mumbai, marked the schoolโs first participation in this prestigious design exhibition.

The highlight of Istituto Marangoniโs presence at Design Mumbai 2024 was an innovative design project from its Milano School of Design. Created in collaboration with the Italian luxury furniture brand Poltrona Frau, the project leveraged Artificial Intelligence to bring its vision to life. As part of this initiative, Interior Design and Interior Contract Design students from Istituto Marangoni Milan envisioned homes of a mixed reality era, demonstrating how physical spaces will evolve to seamlessly integrate digital dimensions.
Additionally, the event featured a rich and diverse selection of student projects, each representing a fusion of modern aesthetics and cultural influences. These projects spanned various design disciplines, including spa concepts, lighting, furniture, and product designs, showcasing the breadth of creativity and innovation fostered at Istituto Marangoni Mumbai. Each piece reflected the students’ ability to merge contemporary design principles with unique cultural elements, offering a fresh perspective on traditional and modern design practices.

- Uchista Shahโs โLucidโ spa project presented an innovative approach to wellness spaces, offering a modern perspective on relaxation and rejuvenation.
- Jasmine Bawaโs โReviveโ spa project and โEchinusโ stool delved into the theme of rejuvenation through organic and natural design elements.
- Devanshi Talrejaโs โAabhaโ side table seamlessly blended traditional motifs with contemporary design principles, creating a unique fusion of old and new.
