New Delhi, Oct 6: The Seva Sankalp Yatra will culminate on October 7 with grand programmes in Vadnagar, Gujarat, and Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, marking the conclusion of a month-long outreach initiative focused on public service, community participation and social awareness.

The yatra is part of the wider Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which has brought together a range of public-participation activities across different parts of the country.

According to organisers, the yatra has covered nearly 40,000 km, passing through 193 districts and 1,159 villages across 10 states. Around 1,000 young riders have taken part in the journey since its launch on September 17.

The journey has sought to connect Vadnagar and Varanasi through a series of outreach and community activities. Participants have also carried water between the two locations as part of a symbolic initiative highlighting cultural and community connections.

Throughout the yatra, participants have taken part in activities related to cleanliness, environmental awareness, water conservation and social outreach. The campaign has also involved interactions with local communities and beneficiaries of various welfare initiatives.

The concluding programmes on October 7 are expected to bring together participants and supporters in Vadnagar and Varanasi. The events will highlight the campaign’s themes of seva, community participation, civic responsibility and the vision of Viksit Bharat.

The culmination of the yatra will mark an important milestone in the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which has used public participation and grassroots activities to promote awareness around social service and community development.
