Nagpur, 17th March 2025 – Volksara Techno Solutions, a subsidiary of the Krystal Group and a leading system integrator, is proud to support the Nagpur district government’s Umang Integrated Digital School Project, which has been recognised with the prestigious ‘Bal Snehi’ award for its contributions to child-friendly education.
Implemented across 41 Nagpur Nagar Parishad schools, the initiative has been acknowledged by the Women and Child Development (WCD) Department for its role in driving digital transformation in classrooms. The award was presented by State Minister Aditi Tatkare and received by Nagpur District Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar at a felicitation ceremony organised by the Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
The Bal Snehi Award honors outstanding contributions to child welfare and education, and Umang was recognised for its innovative approach to digital integration, teacher empowerment, and student engagement. The project is dedicated to bridging the digital divide by transforming classrooms with smart solutions. It equips schools with comprehensive e-classroom infrastructure, robotics labs, and fully equipped science labs, enabling hands-on learning—whether it’s engineering a model car or exploring human anatomy through 3D models. With interactive smart boards, computers, and e-learning platforms, Umang enhances the educational experience, making learning more engaging and accessible.
In addition to digital tools, teacher enablement is a key aspect of the initiative, with extensive training programs designed to help educators integrate technology seamlessly into their teaching methods. The project also includes infrastructure enhancements, such as improved lighting, ergonomic seating, and uninterrupted power supply, ensuring a seamless and enriched digital learning experience.
