Strengthening its legacy, Zee Tamil recently launched the fifth season of its flagship musical reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors, which airs every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Following four successful seasons, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors returns with Season 5, promising powerful voices, compelling stories, and a grand musical celebration that aims to set new benchmarks. As the channel gears up for the latest season, the show witnessed an overwhelming response to its audition drive, with on-ground auditions held across 35+ towns and cities in Tamil Nadu. From Coimbatore to Kanchipuram, Trichy to Madurai, thousands of aspiring singers came forward to chase their dreams.
The auditions offered a unique opportunity for untapped, grassroots-level talent to shine on this renowned platform. From the massive turnout, the most promising voices were shortlisted for the Mega Auditions, held in front of an expert jury panel. After rigorous evaluation, extraordinary contestants will secure their place in the main competition rounds of the show.
Each week, these Contestants will take on diverse musical challenges designed to showcase their versatility, emotional depth, and performance skills. Guiding this season are four of Tamil music’s most popular singers – Vijay Prakash, Srinivas, Shweta Mohan, and Karthik, returning as judges and mentors to shape the next generation of singers.
