India, June 6, 2025: Chartered Speed, one of the leading bus passenger mobility companies operating in the B2G, B2B, and B2C sectors in India, today announced its association with the Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Service (APSTS) and has deployed 10 electric buses for the ease of connectivity. This significant step towards sustainable transportation was inaugurated by the Honโ€™ble Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Chowna Mein, who formally flagged off the electric buses during an official ceremony.

Chartered Speed has deployed a fleet of 9-meter, air-conditioned electric buses in key cities Itanagar, Namsai, and Pasighat. To ensure smooth and efficient operations, the company has installed electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at strategic locations in these cities. This infrastructure investment supports the seamless operation of the electric buses, enabling quick turnarounds and minimal downtime, while strengthening the regionโ€™s transition toward sustainable public transport.

โ€œAt Chartered Speed, we believe that sustainable mobility should not be limited by geography,โ€ said Mr. Sanyam Gandhi, Whole-Time Director, Chartered Speed. โ€œOur association with APSTS and the deployment of electric buses reflect our commitment to building a cleaner, more connected future where even the most remote regions benefit from modern, eco-friendly transportation solutions. This initiative marks a meaningful step forward in accelerating Indiaโ€™s green mobility transition and creating future-ready transport ecosystems.โ€

The company is transitioning its fleet from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to green fuel-powered buses. These initiatives align with the companyโ€™s vision of making contributions to sustainable transportation in the coming years. Chartered Speed operates a robust fleet of over 1800 buses across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Assam, serving more than 3.5 Lakh passengers daily, supported by a workforce of over 4,800 employees.

Recently, the company, has been awarded the contract to operate more than 900 electric buses by Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) across 13 cities in three states in India
