Kashipur, March 7, 2025 – IIM Kashipur, through its social responsibility cell Parivartan, took a heartfelt step towards shaping young futures by organizing the career counseling event, Mai Bada Hokar Kya Banna Chahta Hu. Designed for underprivileged students from schools under Parivartan’s care, the event aimed to guide them in discovering their career aspirations and instill confidence in their potential.
For many of these students, opportunities to explore different career paths are limited. But on this day, they found themselves in an environment where their dreams were not just acknowledged but nurtured. Mr. Nirmal, Co-founder of Khwaahish NGO, and Dr. Safal Batra, Associate Professor of Strategy at IIM Kashipur, played a pivotal role in this journey. Through personal experiences and thought-provoking discussions, they motivated the students to believe in themselves and aspire for a better future. Their words resonated deeply, emphasizing that with the right mindset and effort, success is within reach.
To make the session interactive and engaging, students participated in a clay activity, where they shaped their dreams into tangible forms, creatively expressing their aspirations. A short film screening further inspired them, sharing stories of perseverance and ambition that reinforced the message of resilience and hope.
