Dec, 4:-Kirloskar Brothers Limited has achieved a significant milestone with its pump testing laboratory in Kirloskarvadi, receiving the distinction of an Approved Pump Test Laboratory from the Hydraulic Institute (HI), the largest association of pump manufacturers in North America and a global authority on pumps and pump systems. This certification follows a rigorous audit conducted by Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide. KBL leads the Indian pump industry, earning accreditation for an extensive range of pump offerings.
Established in 1910, KBL’s mother plant at Kirloskarvadi houses one of Asia’s largest hydraulic testing facilities, capable of testing a wide range of pumps from 5 kW to 10000 kW. The HI approval reaffirms that KBL’s state-of-the-art testing facility meets the highest international standards of accuracy, reliability and quality assurance in pump performance testing.
This milestone further strengthens KBL’s century-old legacy of pioneering fluid management solutions and advancing engineering excellence in India and abroad.
