Chandigarh, February 6, 2025 – The ACM Chapter at NMIMS Chandigarh organized an Industry Expert Talk featuring Mr. Archiit Sharma, Senior Software Engineer at Paymentus,USA. The session, held on January 27, 2025, focused on the design of payment gateways and their role in the fintech industry.

Mr. Sharma shared his expertise in developing scalable financial systems, payment methodologies, and the migration to fintech platforms. Key topics included payment gateway architecture, the role of RDBMS in fintech, blockchain applications, AI/ML use cases, and research opportunities in areas like behavioral economics.

He also discussed project ideas for aspiring professionals, including mock payment gateways, peer-to-peer lending platforms, personal finance chatbots, and algorithmic trading systems.

The talk was attended by ACM members from various years and esteemed faculty, including Dr. Jyotsna Singh (Associate Dean), Dr. Jagpreet Singh, Dr. Yugal Kumar, Professor Pankaj Gulhane, Dr. Ranvir Singh, Dr. Aditya Bakshi, and Dr. Ashish.
