Mumbai, September 22, 2025ย โย Vietjet, Vietnamโs new-age airline, celebrates the delivery of its first Boeing 737-8 aircraft from the airlineโs landmark order of 200 jets, valued at US dolar of 32 billion, with Boeing, the worldโs leading aircraft manufacturer. The ceremony at Boeingโs Seattle Delivery Center in the U.S. state of Washington was attended by Vietnamโs President Luong Cuong, senior officials from both nations, and key industry partners.

The event, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of U.S.โVietnam diplomatic relations, marks a major milestone in the growing partnership betweenย Vietjetย and Boeing, driving trade, investment, and the creation of hundreds of thousands of jobs in the U.S. It also underscoresย the airlineโsย commitment to expanding its international networkย while contributing to the sustainable development of the aviation industry regionally and globally.
The new aircraft, along with hundreds more to be delivered in the coming years, will be deployed onย Vietjetโsย high-demand regional markets, enhancing the travel experience for millions of passengers.
