Chennai, Dec 23:- AIMOTO, a wholly owned subsidiary of Artificial Electronics Intelligent Material Limited has announced a major technological breakthrough with the in-house development and manufacturing of ultra-high-purity silver nitrate and engineered nano-silver particles derived directly from metallic silver. This achievement positions India among a select group of nations capable of producing semiconductor-grade and biomedical-grade nanoscale silver materials entirely through indigenous processes.
Until now, India relied heavily on imports of high-purity silver derivatives from China, Japan, and Europe. AIMOTO’s breakthrough strengthens domestic self-reliance, creating a secure supply chain for industries dependent on advanced silver-based materials.
The company has developed a fully homegrown technology platform integrating advanced electrochemical dissolution techniques, multi-stage crystallization, plasma-assisted nano-silver synthesis, and surface functionalization protocols entirely without foreign technology licensing. AIMOTO has also engineered continuous-flow nano-reactor systems and inline spectroscopic monitoring tools to ensure precise control, reproducibility, and high purity at scale.
Following successful pilot-scale validation, AIMOTO is preparing for commercial-scale production with automated nano-synthesis reactors, controlled-atmosphere systems, high-purity filtration, and solvent-recovery infrastructure. All processes comply with global semiconductor-grade standards and REACH requirements, including inert-atmosphere packaging to ensure long-term stability.

AIMOTO’s commercial production will supply high-purity silver-based nanomaterials to critical sectors such as semiconductors, healthcare, defense, and advanced manufacturing, further strengthening India’s indigenous materials ecosystem.
