Bengaluru, Nov 24th:- The Goa Pavilion at the 28th Edition of Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025 concluded on a high note, attracting significant interest from visitors, industry leaders, and international delegates during the three-day event at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Over 500 attendees visited the pavilion set up by the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (DITE&C), Government of Goa, engaging with the state’s digital initiatives, technology innovations, and thriving startup ecosystem.
The Goa delegation included Dr. Milind Sakhardande, Joint Director, DITE&C; Shri Subrai Nadkarni, Chief Engineer, GITDC; Shri Siddharth Borker, Deputy Director, DITE&C; Shri Gaurabh Sawal, Assistant Director, DITE&C; and Shri D. S. Prashant, CEO, Startup and IT Promotion Cell.
The pavilion drew strong interest from global representatives, including delegates from the UK, Russia, Denmark, Canada, and Sweden. A notable visit was by Mr. Joel Stafford, Consulate General of Denmark in Bangalore, who interacted with the officials while exploring Goa’s digital infrastructure, innovation culture, and expanding technology landscape.
The pavilion also gained traction among global industry leaders evaluating Goa as a potential base for future operations. Nicolas Wojnarowski, Director of Innovation and Business Development (Europe & Americas), NineSigma, shared:
“We operate in cities like Bengaluru and Chennai, but Goa could become a hub for expanding our activities. We are building large collaborations in science and technology, and Goa appears to be the ideal place to grow.”
In addition to international interest, the pavilion welcomed national industry bodies, academic institutions, and ecosystem enablers such as TiE Bangalore, KLE, ELCIA, and IDFC, who engaged with the delegation to explore collaboration opportunities.
Ms. Rama N. S., CEO of ELCITA and Advisor to ELCIA, noted;
“The Goa team had strong aspirations to develop the state as an electronics city when I met them earlier this year. Seeing this stall today, it is evident that they have moved from intention to action.”
Delegations from various Indian states also visited the pavilion, showing interest in Goa’s model of digital connectivity, governance innovation, industrial development, and its positioning as a creative, technology-forward state. While visitors of all ages explored the pavilion, the youth showed the highest engagement, reflecting the growing appeal of Goa’s tech and startup ecosystem among young innovators.
Goa-based startups including Spintly and Genora Infotech showcased their products and interacted with visitors.

“Representing Goa here has been a fantastic experience. This platform shows that Goa is more than tourism — it is home to a vibrant tech ecosystem.”
Milind Prabhu, CEO, Genora Infotech, added:
“It was encouraging to see Goa’s initiatives highlighted at the summit. Representing the state with our political campaign management platform, VoxIntel, was an honour.”
As the summit concludes, the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (DITE&C) carries forward new connections, collaborations, and global interest that reinforce Goa’s emergence as India’s Creative Capital and an upcoming hub for technology and innovation.
