Bengaluru, Jan 29: Sri Vishwakarma Seva Samiti will organise the 43rd Vishwakarma Public Awareness Convention, along with the Sri Vishwakarma Brahma Rathotsava, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 7.30 am onwards at the Sri Kalikamba Kamateshwara Swamy Temple, Nagarapete, Bengaluru – 560002. The event will be observed with deep religious fervour and traditional grandeur.
The day-long programme will begin at 7.30 am with Sri Vishwakarma Suprabatha, followed by Ganapati Puja, Sri Vishwakarma Homa, Purnahuti, and Panchamrutha Abhisheka to the Silver Idol of Sri Vishwakarma. At 11.35 am, the Sri Vishwakarma Brahma Rathotsava will be ceremonially flagged off. A grand procession will proceed through the main streets of the city, accompanied by cultural ensembles and traditional folk troupes, concluding with Mahamangalarathi and the distribution of Prasada.
The celebrations will be graced by the divine presence of eminent spiritual leaders, including Jagadguru Ananthashree Vibhushitha Shiva Sujnana Mahaswamiji, Pujya Sri Sri Buddhathmananda Saraswathi Swamiji, Paramapujya Sri Sri Subbarayachar Swamiji, Paramapujya Sri Sri Neelakanthacharya Mahaswamiji, Paramapujya Sri Sri Sujnanamurthy Swamiji, and Sri Veeram Botlaiah, the eighth-generation descendant of Pothuluru Veera Brahmendra Swamiji.
Arrangements have been made to provide breakfast and Anna Prasada (lunch) to all devotees.
The Vishwakarma Public Awareness Convention will be held at 5.00 pm, featuring the felicitation of achievers, award presentations, inspirational addresses by chief guests, honouring of community elders, and Talent Awards for school children.
The dignitaries expected to address the gathering include Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister Shri D.K. Shivakumar, Shri Chandrashekhara Kambara, Shri P.C. Mohan, Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao, Shri Zameer Ahmed Khan, Shri H.M. Revanna, Shri Sujnanamurthy (Chairman, Karnataka State Vishwakarma Development Corporation), Shri Arun Yogiraj, Shri Tejasvi Surya, Shri Ramalinga Reddy, Shri Uday Garudachar, and Shri A.R. Saptagiri Gowda, among others.
