  • Gold, Silver Slip Nearly 2 pc as Global Rate Concerns Weigh on Demand

June 24: Gold and silver prices declined nearly 2 per cent in global markets as investors turned cautious amid uncertainty over the global interest rate outlook.

The weakness in bullion was driven by expectations that interest rates may remain elevated for longer than previously anticipated, reducing the appeal of non-yielding assets such as precious metals. A stronger US dollar also added pressure, making gold more expensive for buyers holding other currencies.

Market sentiment remained subdued as central banks continued to signal a data-dependent approach to monetary policy, limiting hopes of near-term rate cuts. This has led to reduced safe-haven demand in the precious metals segment.

Silver prices mirrored the decline in gold, tracking both macroeconomic sentiment and concerns over industrial demand in key global markets.

Analysts said short-term volatility in bullion is likely to persist as investors respond to evolving interest rate expectations and currency movements. However, long-term demand for gold and silver remains supported by inflation-hedging needs and ongoing global economic uncertainties.

Market participants are now awaiting fresh economic data and central bank signals for clearer direction on interest rate trends and their impact on commodity prices.

  • Deconstruct Co-Creates Its Most Scientifically Formulated Serum Range With Leading Dermatologists, Powered by Superior Liposomal Technology

Deconstruct Co-Creates Its Most Scientifically Formulated Serum Range With Leading Dermatologists, Powered by Superior Liposomal Technology

Bengaluru, June 24: Deconstruct Skincare, the science-backed skincare brand built on its “Highly Effective, Yet Gentle” philosophy, has introduced its most scientifically formulated serum range yet, powered by superior liposomal technology. The launch marks a step forward in Deconstruct’s formulation approach, moving the conversation beyond ingredient percentages to how effectively actives are delivered and experienced by the skin.

The range has been developed with a clear skincare insight: while consumers today are more aware of active ingredients, consistent results depend just as much on formulation design, delivery and stability. To bring this thinking into the portfolio, Deconstruct worked with leading dermatologists including Dr. Rashi Soni, Dr. Anupriya Goel, Dr. Shivangi Rana, Dr Sanyogita Singh and Dr. Nirupama, who contributed clinical and formulation-led inputs across exfoliation, oil control, dark spots and brightening.

The portfolio includes ‘10% Brightening Vitamin C Serum’, ‘15% Bright + Glow Vitamin C Serum’, ‘Oil Control Niacinamide Serum’, ‘Dark Spot Clearing Serum’ and ‘Exfoliating AHA BHA PHA Serum’. It brings together upgraded consumer favourites and new formulations designed for everyday skincare needs, while staying true to Deconstruct’s promise of being highly effective, yet gentle.

At the core of the range is an advanced delivery system that uses microscopic lipid-based carriers to encapsulate actives and support their delivery deeper in the skin, where the concern actually begins. Rather than changing what the serums are meant to do, the upgrade improves how they perform on the skin with better absorption and stability of the actives.

Through this launch, Deconstruct strengthens its position among the few Indian skincare brands making liposomal delivery technology accessible through an active serum portfolio designed for multiple everyday skin concerns. It also reflects the brand’s larger approach to simplifying formulation science without diluting efficacy.

Speaking on the launch, Malini Adapureddy, Founder & CEO, Deconstruct Skincare, said, “For us, the decision to upgrade our serums with liposomal technology came from a simple but important insight: the active ingredient is only the starting point, what truly matters is how effectively it reaches the skin. It came through conversations across different contexts, from a dermatologist’s perspective, to learnings from pharmaceutical R&D in Switzerland, and observations at a global trade fair in Hong Kong, all pointing towards the same shift: delivery systems are becoming central to modern skincare. As an engineer and a founder, that was hard to ignore. With this range, we have reimagined how our serums deliver actives, helping trusted ingredients work more efficiently while keeping formulations gentle, practical and suitable for everyday use.”

As consumers become more informed about actives, ingredient stability and formulation formats, Deconstruct aims to bridge the gap between ingredient awareness and consistent results. The new serum range combines trusted actives, advanced delivery technology and dermatologist inputs, making it Deconstruct’s most scientifically formulated serum range yet.
