Bhubaneswar, Aug 17: CSM Technologies Limited, a GovTech and enterprise IT solutions company, today announced that it has been certified to ISO/IEC 42001:2023, the world’s first international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS). The certification was issued following an independent audit and covers CSM‘s end-to-end technology services, including software and application development, artificial intelligence, machine learning and generative AI solutions, digital transformation, IT consultancy, systems integration, managed IT and cloud services, and data management and governance.

The certification confirms that CSM‘s approach to developing, deploying and overseeing AI meets a globally recognised benchmark for governance, transparency and accountability, at a time when clients and regulators worldwide are placing growing emphasis on responsible AI practices.

The AI Management System covers:

  • AI policy and objectives: A formal CSM AI Policy, with measurable objectives, has been embedded into the company’s standard operating procedures.
  • Controlled AI delivery: Projects are delivered using approved tools, defined data classification protocols and lifecycle documentation across the AI development pipeline.
  • Monitoring by the Core Technology Group: CSM‘s Core Technology Group (CTG) tracks AI usage, performance and control effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
  • Risk management: AI-related risks are logged, treated and closed through a dedicated AI Risk Register, ensuring risks are identified and managed through their full lifecycle.

“As CSM scales its AI-led offerings across governments and enterprises in India, Africa, and North America, our clients need to know that innovation is matched by discipline. ISO/IEC 42001 certification is an independent validation that our AI systems are governed by clear policy, continuous oversight and a structured approach to risk; giving our partners the confidence to adopt AI-driven solutions at scale,” said Priyadarshi Nanu Pany, Managing Director & CEO, CSM Technologies.

The certification adds to CSM‘s existing suite of quality and security accreditations and reinforces the company’s commitment to responsible AI as it continues to deploy AI and generative AI capabilities across its GovTech, digital transformation and managed services portfolio.
