From Training to Earning: One Project Shakthi Service Partner Completes 350 plus Orders, Earns Nearly INR 1.3 Lakh in Q1

New Delhi, August 17: As India celebrates its 80th Independence Day, the idea of independence for women is increasingly extending beyond social freedom to include the ability to earn independently, make financial choices and build sustainable careers. Yet, industries such as automotive services continue to have limited female participation. ReadyAssist, India’s most reliable and on-time roadside assistance and vehicle lifecycle management solutions company, is working to change this through Project Shakthi, an initiative aimed at creating opportunities for women to enter the automotive service ecosystem, develop technical skills, and build independent livelihoods.
Launched in March 2026 with an ambition to train 300+ women across 15 cities over two years, Project Shakthi has now progressed from its initial training phase to enabling women to undertake real customer assignments. During April-June 2026, Preethi, a service partner from Bengaluru, completed 356 customer orders and earned ₹1.24 lakh, while maintaining a customer rating of 4.62/5. Several other trained participants have also begun taking on customer assignments and gaining field experience.
Another service partner, Divya from Chennai, completed 207 customer orders and earned ₹74,216 during the quarter, with a customer rating of 4.84/5. Together, these early outcomes demonstrate how technical training and flexible work opportunities can translate into real income and professional experience.
The program provides sponsored technical training at no cost, combining classroom learning with hands-on field exposure. The first batches were trained in GPS and dashcam fitment, with opportunities to progressively develop their capabilities across additional automotive service areas.
Vimal Singh SV, Founder & CEO, ReadyAssist, said, “Project Shakthi was envisioned with two clear objectives: to make the automotive service industry more inclusive and, equally importantly, to create opportunities for women to build the skills and careers needed to achieve financial independence. Seeing this vision translate into women gaining technical expertise, taking on customer-facing roles in the vehicle care industry, earning independently and building customer trust has been deeply encouraging. The journeys of our Shakthi partners demonstrate the impact that access to the right training and work opportunities can create. As Project Shakthi continues to expand across locations, our focus remains on creating more such pathways for women to learn, earn and build sustainable careers within the vehicle care ecosystem.”
After completing the training, participants are onboarded as ReadyAssist service partners and can undertake assignments through a flexible freelance model, allowing them to choose their working hours while building technical expertise, professional experience and independent income. The early performance of the service partners, including strong customer ratings, points to the potential of creating a direct pathway between technical training and earning opportunities in an industry traditionally perceived as male-dominated.
Project Shakthi is currently active across Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Chennai and Hyderabad, with plans to expand to Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Indore, among other cities. As the program scales towards its goal of training 300+ women, ReadyAssist aims to create a larger network of women service professionals within India’s vehicle care ecosystem.
