New Delhi, July 14: As many as 14 out of 19 services sub-sectors have recorded double-digit growth, reflecting the strong performance and expanding contribution of the services sector to India’s economy.
According to the latest data shared by the Centre, several key segments within the services industry have witnessed significant growth, supported by rising demand, increased digital adoption, and improved business activity.
The strong performance across multiple sub-sectors highlights the resilience of India’s services ecosystem and its growing role in driving economic expansion and employment generation.
Officials said continued growth in areas such as technology, professional services, trade, and other service-related activities is strengthening India’s position as a major global services hub.
The government added that ongoing reforms, digital initiatives, and policy support are expected to further boost the services sector and create new opportunities for businesses and workers.
